From Docker to LibreELEC

Hi,
Can I transfer the data from a Tvheadend instance running in a Docker container to an instance running under LibreELEC? (I don't want to reorganize the channels, tags, icons, etc.)

In theory yes, provided the versions not too far apart.

Depending on how your tuners are detected in LibreELEC, maybe there could be some changes to their UUIDs. If that occurs, you just need assign your networks to your 'new' tuners. Otherwise it should be achievable.

In a standard TVH installation, the configuration files should be in /home/.config/hts.

In LibreELEC, TVH runs as a Kodi addon, so you need to use /storage/.kodi/userdata/addon_data/service.tvheadend.

You will almost certainly need to alter the 'Storage path' locations in your DVR profiles to point to /storage.

In my case, I won't transfer the DVB networks, only the IPTV networks. Perhaps it would be best to transfer everything and then delete what's no longer needed?

Agreed. I am not sure how you would transfer just the IPTV networks without determining the required chain of UUIDs to preserve. Transferring the whole lot and then deleting the unwanted items would be less trouble.

You could also retain the original configuration and keep copying and modifying it until you get the exact results that you require. If you mess up, just copy again and start from the beginning.

With LibreELEC, learn how to stop/start the tvheadend service with systemctl stop service.tvheadend, you may have to restart this service many times.

NB: In LE13 (nightly) images we recently added some aliases so systemctl stop tvheadend also works.
