Morning All,

I hope this is allowed, over the last few weeks after installing TVHeadend I have had a couple of occasions where my Digibit Twin has dropped off the software. The easiest fix I’ve found is to restart the tvheadend docker and power cycle the tuner. To give this a helping hand I have (with some help) developed a Home Assistant Intergration that monitors all tuners for availability and records status of each tuner including noise, signal and use. This brings the ability of recording statistics and troubleshoot historic data.

It seems to work well so I thought it’s worth sharing.

It’s available via a custom repository on HACS jb123567/TV-Headend-HA-Tuner-Monitor.

Have you considered running TVH without Docker? You could isolate the containerised environment as a possible cause.

Fair point, I think I have worked out the issue. The timeout on the tuners was too aggressive for a network tuner.

If I carry on having issues I’ll explore spinning up a VM.
