If HTSP is disabled, what's the basic streaming profile called?

Hi,

I'm trying to find a windows desktop player for TVHeadend, but any I find want to use the HTSP option. However i want to test some basic streaming profiles I have. However I don't know what format the basic stream uses!

What kind of stream is the basic stream so I can find something?

If it helps, you can try to stream via HTTP. I use VLC to do this fairly often.
