Mario Giorgian Cioc Hello, Is it possible to set up a reverse proxy for Tvheadend using Apache Server on Ubuntu Desktop? Any guidance or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!
DeltaMikeCharlie The default inbound TCP ports that you need will be 9981 and 9982 to contact and control TVH via HTTP and HTSP.
Mario Giorgian Cioc DeltaMikeCharlie , I want to access the web interface only through https and not through http... The same goes for the TV channel streams. Can you help me with what I need to do?
DeltaMikeCharlie Mario Giorgian Cioc I want to access the web interface only through https and not through http I'm happy to be proven wrong, however, to the best of my knowledge, TVH only uses http. Perhaps you could configure your Apache server to accept a public facing https connection and redirect it to an internal TVH http port.
Mario Giorgian Cioc My problem is as follows: from Tvheadend, I want to stream a specific TV channel to a website, but the video player integrated into the website only supports HTTPS, not HTTP (HLS, m3u8, MPEG-DASH). An example of a TV channel that works in the video player on the website is: https://tv.broadcasting.ro/magictv/925f90db-5c88-4190-a53d-5163cdffe6f4.m3u8. https://online.tvimpact.live/hls/dancetv.m3u8
