Sure. Though in my case, I still feel motivated to look at an overall 'good', and less solving my own tiny problems.
Therefore I do write things like this one into a forum, like here. As a relative newcomer, I am learning, exploring. And then, when I don't understand, I do a search. Like I did here for "UTC". Answers were not forthcoming resp. not satisfying. I am happy, that we are filling this gap much better now.
davep was right, I could confirm with the provider that their EPG data are UTC. Now that makes sense.
It does become obvious that DVB is kind of analogue and last-century. Nobody is to be blamed for that. Though, obviously, there has never been a standard of data exchange, to download a single file containing all settings, like EPG-timing, muxes, services, ... available for download from a website, or directly at a first contact. Otherwise, setup would be much easier and faster. There could be a tiny file download, and everything would be set. No more need for auto-scan after service reallocations. Well, I stop here.
All this doesn't exist, so we users have to help each other by exchanging knowledge, tricks, and other help. And I am very thankful that there are so many people contributing here, and giving out help and advise patiently and quickly.
Thanks to all of you!
