Setting Up Digibit Twin SAT to IP Router with TVHeadend

Hi everyone,

I hope someone can assist me with a setup I'm struggling with. I'm trying to configure my Digibit Twin SAT to IP router to work with TVHeadend, but I'm having some difficulties. Here’s what I’ve done so far:

What I Have:
Digibit Twin SAT to IP Router
TVHeadend installed on my server (running on Ubuntu 20.04 on docker)

Steps I’ve Taken:
Connected the SAT to IP router to my satellite dish and my network.
Powered on the device and accessed its web interface.
Installed TVHeadend on my Ubuntu server.
Accessed the TVHeadend web interface at http://<IP-of-TVHeadend>:9981.
Accessed the Digibit web interface.

Initial Configuration in TVHeadend:
Followed the setup wizard, created user credentials, and set network settings.

Issues I’m Facing:
I'm not sure if I'm configuring the network and muxes correctly in TVHeadend.
I don't see the SAT>IP server listed under Configuration > DVB Inputs > TV Adapters.

Mapping Services to Channels:
Confused about how to properly scan for muxes and map services to channels.

What I Need Help With:
Properly adding and configuring the Digibit Twin SAT to IP router in TVHeadend.
Step-by-step guidance on setting up networks, muxes, and mapping services to channels.
Any troubleshooting tips for common issues that might arise during this setup.
If anyone has experience with this setup or can point me to a detailed guide, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance for your help!

I am not sure how I need to add the sat to IP device to TV headend. Im basically just slamming lots of configs until something works...

labberzzzz try installing TVH without Docker. See if the Digibit Twin is working. Sounds like your tuner is not being recognised with TVH behind a Docker. If that’s your problem you’ll need to reach out to the Docker maintainer for advice.
