I'm trying to make an recording where a sports event is split in multiple programmes in the EPG. Obviously, recording split up is not ideal, it's a one event after all, with intermission discussion and an uncertain ending time (which might or might not be reflected in the ending time of the last entry, depending on what the broadcaster decides).
Previously I've set up a recording which starts as scheduled according to the first EPG entry, and just edit the end time. I've made sure the "Use EPG running state" is disabled in the profile I use for these recordings.
This seems to be working but the end time is reset on every restart of tvheadend. I don't remember this being the case - and I do need to restart the computer sometimes, but this means all recordings I've scheduled will lose their endings times I've carefully hand-edited.
