Running on what OS and version? Freebsd 11.2
Package that came with the OS or something you compiled yourself? package that came with os, followed https://gist.github.com/dreamcat4/f0e61d35f656afde5df6
Adapter/tuner chipset or make/model? No Tuner IPTV m3u
Detailed description of problem :

Hello,
Autorecs priority doesn't record full show till the end if another autorec with higher priority is about to start. I have single iptv stream and 4 autorecs with different priorities (unimportant, low, normal and high). Is it possible to make sure that recordings with lower priority are only scheduled if other recordings with higher priorities do not overlap the time? E.g. i have 1 unimportant show starting at 8:30-9:30 and i have 1 normal show starting at 9:00-10:00, first unimportant show only recorded from 8:30-9:00.
Please let me know if i need to provide more information or i am being not clear with my query.

Thanks in advance.

It's no error, the things works in this way (there is no collision checking - all priorities are evaluated dynamically - mostly because users are running complex setups).

If you like to rerecord the incomplete sessions, set the rerecord flag in the DVR profile.

Thank you for looking into it Jaroslav! Could you please confirm what place do i need to set this flag or is it something that will have to be done each time when recording is not full, login to "website>Digital Video Recorder>FInished Recordings> Rerecord" or can it be done from Kodi? My girlfriend is watching those recordings after a few days so the likelihood of it being in epg is very slim.
I found one setting in DVR profile "Schedule a re-recording if more errors" if yes what should i set it to as i am not sure what type of errors it refers to.

Hi Jaroslav,
I looked there but can't find a setting/flag regarding "rerecord flag". Please see attached screenshots of all settings in "Configuration /Recording / Profiles" with "View level: Expert". Could it be because i am on tv headend 4.2.6?
I looked in help but couldn't find it either.
Thanks in advance,
Oleg

Hello Jaroslav,

I tried newer tvheadend Build: 4.3-1733~g7d3aa1194 (2019-01-26T06:39:32+0100) in docker and it has more options now but i couldn't find rerecord flag. Could you please point it out to me.

Thanks,
Oleg

You might want to enable "For autorecs attempt to find better timeslots", that could help.

Hello, Thank you for pointing it out. Could you please advise what it actually does, does it compare current recording with all autorecs timeslots and makes sure to pick the time that is not conflicting with others if available or something else?
I do not have 4.3 at this time as it was a long time ago and I must have deleted 4.3 vm with all settings. I am currently working on openmediavault shares and backups and once it is done i want to move tvheadend to it as docker.
