Description

Since ticket #260 was fixed, v4l channels sound is kind of working with my setup but both sound and video are pausing every second or so (with XBMC as a client).

tvheadend log says this:

Oct 02 11:26:45 subscription: "192.168.1.20 [ XBMC Media Center ]" subscribing on "BBC Two", weight: 150, adapter: "Hauppauge WinTV PVR-150 ivtv PCI:0000:02:07.0", network: "", mux: "168250000 Hz", provider: "", service: "", quality: 80
Oct 02 11:26:46 TS: Hauppauge WinTV PVR-150 ivtv PCI:0000:02:07.0/0 Hz: MPEG2VIDEO: Corrupted PES header

With VLC and mplayer, I can't play such channels. VLC says this:

$ vlc http://192.168.1.5:9981/stream/channelid/53
VLC media player 1.0.6 Goldeneye
[0x93a2668] main libvlc: Running vlc with the default interface. Use 'cvlc' to use vlc without interface.

Can you provide a raw dump from /dev/video1 ?

I would guess this is a problem with Tvheadends MPEG demultiplexer
