Bug #2620
DVR AutoRec and wrong entries
0%
Description
I want to record a program, which is broadcast on Saturday at 21, and Tuesday, also by 21 (as shown in the screenshot below). Why TVH adds recordings in the days and hours that I did not choose? When I uncheck first entry (Przewodnik), scheduled recordings disappear in tab Upcoming/Current Recordings. Once I check the entry (Przewodnik) wrong entries have been removed from Sunday. The situation is similar with the entry "Uliczne eksperymenty".

If you select the "Przewodnik" like (in autorec) and click on Edit - then collapse the Read Only values - do you see something in the series line ?
If the entry was created from EPG with the series identification, then TVH tries to record all related entries without other checks..

Are empty at each entry. Today I watched TV for about two hours and came two invalid entries that were not there before (Przewodnik). Also came two invalid entries (Uliczne eksperymenty). But not all the entries found in the EPG.

There is definitely something wrong with the series EPG. If I chooses one channel in the list its ok in the autorec entry but a completely other channel is selected in the upcoming entry. Maybe it's an feature ?

In this case it's the same program but since BBC One transponder is much weaker I want to use the other one...

Sorry, but you didn't show me if the autorec event has associated series entry. Again - select the line (entry) in the autorec grid, click on Edit to show the dialog and click on the V before 'Read-Only' box to expand it..

If the series link is present for autorec and the event is linked to this, it always matches (without any other filter - including channel). I'm not author of this code and I also don't see the purpose.

OK.
No series. OK. I think that your event was updated using the build-in fuzzy match. It means that if EPG event has similar parameters (title etc) and was updated somehow, it's matched within predefined boundary which is 24 hours by default. You may change this value to 30 minutes in the Configuration / Recording / Default Configurate - EPG Update Window field.

Problem fixed. I test version 3.9.2380~ged513c0 for more than 2 days and no unwanted entry did not appear.
