This looks very good. If you don't already support closed captioning (subtitles), you should consider adding this to your future features list.

Which distribution do you use? Debian? Ubuntu? I'd prioritize those.

Thanks, I'm glad to hear it. Yeah, I'm a bit of a perfectionist—I don't release anything that's not quite finished. I've been testing this for two weeks.
And requests like the one today for a Linux version... since it was already planned anyway, yeah, that can be done pretty quickly.

Und Wünsche wie z.B. heute zu einer Linux-Version... da es eh geplant war, ja, geht auch recht schnell.

TVHarbor Public Beta 2 is available

The second public beta of TVHarbor is ready. 🙂

The main focus of Beta 2 is multi-language support, together with some improvements to recording management.

New in Beta 2:

Multi-language UI
- English
- German
- French
- Spanish
- Italian
Application language can be changed directly in Settings
Recording states are now localized
Recording list now shows the TVHeadend enabled/disabled state
Recordings can be filtered by enabled state: All / Enabled / Disabled
Various smaller improvements and fixes

English remains the default application language.

The currently included languages are just the starting point. If there is interest in additional languages, I'm happy to add them as well.

There is one caveat: for languages I don't speak myself, the translation will necessarily be somewhat "blind". So if you request another language, feedback and corrections from native speakers would be very welcome. 🙂

TVHarbor is currently available for Windows x64 and Linux (Debian/Ubuntu amd64).

Perhaps you could perform an Operating System call to determine the current language setting and use that if it's available.

There are online community-driven translation solutions available if your project grows big enough.

Hi,

I installed the tool and it’s exactly what I’ve been looking for on Windows for a long time!

So far, everything is working perfectly.
