There are many services across multiple satellites that only broadcast periodically.
If they aren't broadcasting while TVH does its thing (mux scan, EPG scan, really not sure), THV disables them, and they won't play even if they have been mapped and are broadcasting (unless you disable automatic checking).
This wouldn't be as much of an issue if services and muxes didn't move around as much as they do, but unfortunately they do.
I like to map using network bouquets and e2 bouquets. For the most part, channel changes map automatically, but not temporary services, because of the parent disabled thing.
I don't know how much would need to change under the hood, but a system that classed a service still referenced in the mux as "alive" would probably fix the issues.
