Markus Bonet I'd like to know how to interpret these values for the four DVB-S tuners: Those are Digital Devices tuners: I don't experience any problems, but would like to know why sometimes dB and for the other tuners a percentage value is shown.
DeltaMikeCharlie According to the TVH documentation (see signal_scale and snr_scale), these statistics can come in various forms. My guess is that different manufacturers/chip sets/device drivers/firmware provide these statistics in different formats. https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/v4.9/media/uapi/dvb/frontend-stat-properties.html tvheadend/tvheadendblob/80729d2f6f4b9bd11ceaf8835699c82e6bfed630/src/input/mpegts/linuxdvb/linuxdvb_frontend.c#L1060-L1125
Markus Bonet What I see so far is that 17.5 dB indicates a good signal. But puzzled by the value of the adapter showing percentage values and the indication of a poor signal. All tuners fed by the same unicable split.
