I have a raspberry pi 4, with the DVB-T hat - I was about to do an install - when looking for the download, I noticed mention of Synology.
I have a Synology DS918+ (the apollo-lake architecture) on which I am running Plex and related bits.
What are the respective pros and cons of running TVheadend on my Pi vs on the Synology?
It just struck me that the Synology version may be used for talking to an external independent Device like a HDHOmerun, and may not work with the Pi DVBT - can anyone confirm or deny this?
With respect to the Synology, I see the download points to synocommunity and a .spk file - I don't see any mention of what this creates? A native app? A container? a VM? There are lots of different .spks and I am presuming that the apollolake one is the one for my hardware.
