Streaming Issue with TVHeadend

Hi I wonder if someone can help.

I am using HTS Tvheadend 4.3.0_pre+202603300640-0_{built202603301008}git395afb851_ubuntu20.04.1

I have TVHeadend set up and seems to be generally working so If I click on the TV icon under the Actions column in the EPG, I get a channel without an issue.

If I click on Details and then select Play, I get a black box with media controls and no video streaming,

I suspect I am missing or not configured something right?

Yes, the same happens when try to play a Record, it forwards u straight to a new Site. So for example if you Click like u described on the EPG Details Page the Play Button it will open a new Site like:

http: //youripandport/play/ticket/stream/channel/61009b261db583ebf85e535e5051018b?title=YourChannel

Instead of downloading the 61009b261db583ebf85e535e5051018b.m3u File for VLC or else.
It have to do with the Browser Useragent and with some changes inside TVH if i am correct.

I tried Chrome, Edge and Firefox, and Firefox is the only one that correctly downloads the *.m3u File instead of try to open the new Site and try playing it inside the Browser wich fails.

Instead of Left-Click on the "Play" Button in the EPG Details Page and just Right-Click and "Save Link under" sadly doesent work. But it will work that way for the "Play" Button under Records, where it then downloads the *.m3u File wich can be played in for Example VLC.

So u can use Firefox wich should work, it downloads the File, without .m3u extension but it is playable with for example VLC.
