Do you have an AntiVirus scanner that could be blocking it?
Can you try another browser?

I will try to build a new ZIP package and upload it tomorrow using a different file transfer site.

Here is the latest hacked stand-alone version with all of the usual caveats.

An 'About' page has been added.
New grids for editing Services, Mux schedulers, Channels, Channel Tabs, Bouquets & Rating labels.
Lots more display refinement and tweaks to functionality.

@DaveH - A patch for the 'bad control character' issue that you where having has been made to the core TVH system. If you still get that issue with this new version of the Modern UI, then upgrade your TVH installation. The bug was that TVH was not correctly filtering control characters as per the standard. The Classic UI was more lenient and just ignored this non-standard data, whereas the Modern UI enforced the standard and issue an error.

I don't have an antivirus scanner. I have downloaded the new version from filebin.net OK. Thanks! I really don't want the hassle that will come from updating my TVH (I apologise; I know that's a stupid attitude, but it is what it is). Can you point me to details of the patch and I'll look at patching it myself?

When do you see that error? When you ask to see the filebin page, or when you press one of the buttons to download the file or when?

I followed the same procedure, but did not test it. Maybe something else had to change. I will test the next one.

So you mean it (the filebin site) DOES work for you and you can download it OK? And then you have a problem when you try to use TVH with the downloaded new bit? You'll need to look at how you have your webserver configured, or post more details I suspect.

@sepietras - I just tested the current zip and it works. Where did you unzip the files to? What version of TVH are you currently running? It could be too old.
