Add IPTV Network: No URL field?

Hello,

I was browsing the options in "Configuration > DVB Inputs > Networks > Add > Add IPTV Network". In this window, I don't see any field to paste in a playlist URL. Is it normal? Is the URL entered somewhere else? I noticed the "Add IPTV Automatic Network" form does have a playlist URL field, but not this one... Any idea?

New user I don't use IPTV but I believe this option allows you to create your own "network" from different sources. After creating the "network" you can add "muxes" one at a time, entering the URL and other parameters there.

New user in url field, add playlist in this format: file://path_to_my_playlist/playlist.m3u. This will create muxes and services!

davep : I tried: I added a new network in "Configuration > DVB Inputs > Networks > Add > IPTV Network", then I added a new mux in "Configuration > DVB Inputs > Muxes > Add > (my new network)", I pasted in the M3U address in the "URL" field, pressed "Create", and took a look at the list of muxes, but even after refreshing the list, the new mux doesn't show up in the list.

New user I believe you need to enter in the URL field the actual URL of the source, not a reference to an M3U file. The actual URL is normally on the second line of the M3U file.

davep Indeed... Now, I added the URL as given in the large playlist (always the 2nd line of the TV channel entry), and the mux showed up in the list after adding it. I was adding an m3u8 file earlier, and this didn't work. It's working fine now. Let's see if it keeps working. Thank you 🙂
