Legal UK IPTV Recommendations

I live in the UK and I've heard that satellite TV is being deprecated - which is a problem for me since I live in the remote countryside and the only provider of fast broadband is Gigaclear (who don't have a TV package). What I would like is a legal (I'm more than happy to pay) IPTV streaming service provider whose stream doesn't require additional hardware, and which I can use with TVHeadend - effectively being a seamless replacement for the service I currently get through my dish. Does such a thing exist?

The icing on the cake would be if I could also get (again, legally - I'm happy to pay, but I don't want recommendations which would require any circumventions like VPNs) Spanish, French and German IPTV services which work with TVHeadend. (yes, I'm one of those weirdos who speaks many languages!)

The touted replacement for terrestrial and satellite TV is "Freely". This is basically a front-end for the streaming services of the various broadcasters which provides something like a conventional TV experience. However the streams are all DRM'd so recording is (I assume) not possible. At present there are no 'dongles' available so the expectation is that users will buy new TVs.

Thank you for this advice - I suppose I'd better go back to making sure I'm in if I want to watch something!

Wait until it happens, or just before, and then buy whatever is available that best suits your needs.

UK Satellite has been rumoured on the way out for years now.
I don't think it's going anywhere anytime soon.
You can always opt for a motorised dish, so much free and "free" TV across Europe.

Of course, there are a more, but these are the ones I think are worth adding and all come in strong where I am in Staffordshire.
