Wrong timezone/time used as system time

hi.
i got a privilaged proxmox debian 12 container and its running tvheadend. installed via apt.
for some reason tvheadend is showing the UTC time and not the local time at the top
and is treating the current event in epg in UTC. the times of the programs are correct.

i have checked everything i knew but i feel like i missed something. so any help on this would be appreciated.
the date command shows the correct time as well as correct timezone but tvheadend shows the wrong time and no matter what i do i cant get it to change.

if you guys need any extra logs or current config let me know. frankly i dont know where to start on fixing this issue. i can test nightly stuff too if you guys link me to a trusted source.

If EPG is correct, let it be, otherwise check your Kodi or other front-end time settings and reboot. Also see if you can find some answer here. I am a layman so I can hardly be more helpful. Someone else me know more.

Their issue is the opposite of mine. Thanks for replying tho.

Also i noticed something else while trying to fix my issue.
Let me give an example how things are

Date command: 8:00 pm +330 (3 hours and 30 min)
Time displayed in tvheadend: 5:30 pm
Time on epg: 5:30 pm

programs are in the correct offset compared to utc and
network eta offset is at +210 minutes which is 3 hours and 30 minutes.

Everything is on its correct time but the displayed time is not local. Its utc

It didnt even occur to me but after you mentioned to check my client, i went and did.

It has the correct time and programs are at the correct time too.
So its just the tvheadend ui that is showing all of the times at a wrong timezone... Weird
It wasn't like this on my previous installations of tvheadend.
To be honest i never had time issues, ever since i was running it on a raspberry pi before 2018 it has been fine but the newest version turned out to show all of the times at utc and not local anymore.

I could be misremembering things since the last time i reinstalled my server was 9 months ago.

Anyway i guess its fine? I cant schedule records as easy as before now but the clients are... fine...?

Are you getting EPG off-air? Normally times on off-air EPG are in UTC, so on Config -> DVB Inputs -> Networks -> Edit you should have "EIT offset" set to GMT.
