Tvheadend 4.3-2375~g653bd0400 fails to open dialogs for Autorec editing

Using a variety of browsers (Firefox, MS Edge, Google Chrome) I cannot open the Edit dialog for Digital Video Recorder | Autorecs | (highlight an existing autorec) | Edit

The screen flashes as if it tries and fails to open the dialog. This happens on a variety of computers: Win 7, Win 10, Rasp PiOS Bookworm, Android. About the only browser that will open the dialog is the Samsung native browser on Android. All other dialogs (eg Digital Video Recorder | Upcoming recordings | (highlight an existing autorec) | Edit work fine. I've only tried it on one specific installations of TVHeadend on a Pi4 running Rasp PiOS Bookworm.

Is this a known bug and is there a workaround or is it fixed in a later version of TVHeadend?

Martin Underwood Yes it is a known issue and yes it is fixed in later versions (yours is almost a year old).

Is updating as simple as installing the correct .deb file over the top of an existing installation? Does that preserve all the data (tuner, service, channel, scheduled recordings)? Strangely "sudo apt update tvheadend" said that my present installation was up-to-date.

For the time being, I've patched the tvh.js.gz file as someone suggested in an earlier forum posting.
