On the old forum, there is discussion around Output UDP stream (for multicast) which has a branch for this feature. The discussion ends with note that it is proposed to go into version 4.6. Has there been any movement on this, or has anyone come up with a solution for accessing a channel via UDP or RTSP?
I have an installation where the devices connecting to the streams can only read over UDP or RTSP. I'm currently trying to implement this via Tomcast, but this isn't proving sucsseful either. Has any had success with this, or is it a proposed TVHeadEnd feature on the radar?
