spaarks Tvheadend v. 3.5.5 on Linux Mint 21. In server address I entered http://www.tvheadend.org with and without www. Get Error unexpected entries. What should I enter as server address?
Flole Good luck trying to find anyone who still has knowledge about a Tvheadend version that's 12 years old (or even older). I suggest updating to the latest version.
DaveH Try downloading a current version from https://tvheadend.org/p/downloads instead of an old version from Ubuntu. What server are you talking about?
spaarks DaveH Thanks, I added the Tvheadend repository to my Program Manager. What server indeed! In the server configuration box it asks for a server address. I guess they mean the address of my satellite device. I obviously need to do a lot of reading !
spaarks Am I right in assuming I cannot use a STB such as Humax? It is on my wifi network but cannot see it on my router software. Would the Labgear VSAT02 be suitable.
