Picons not working

i have configured picons in base settings as follows

and when i check the user icon in channels it shows up correctly

however, when checking details in the epg, and also the guide in plex, there is no icon to be seen.

i installed linux yesterday in order to set all this up so i am a noob, sorry if the solution is obvious

Try to setup the files in a directory where TvHeadend User and Group (hts:video) have the correct rights to access the Files, this could be in the Tvheadend Configuration Directorys (eg. /var/lib/tvheadend/channels/picons) or give the Folder /home/megane/picon and the Subfolders the rights for the user hts and group video to access the Files.

Thank you. I finally managed to get them working by moving the picons folder to the /var/lib/tvheadend/channels and making sure to give ownership to hts:video, removing the imagecache folder and restarting the tvheadend service. I had done this to the folder in /home/megane/picon folder as well prior to posting here but I may have messed up some commands somewhere. all is well.
