Hello,
I am using the TBS 5530 on Tvheadend 4.3-2404. In the past with other systems, I have managed to get this working correctly (so I know it is not a driver issue). The TBS 5530 works fine with MythTV and NextPVR; however they are less then intuitive to use.
When I submit a DVB-T mux to be scanned, it attempts to scan it. The logs show this:
'2025-05-30 14:45:16.658 mpegts: 538MHz in DVB-T Network - tuning on TurboSight TBS 5530 DVB-T/T2/C/C2,ISDB-T/C,ATSC,J83B #1 : DVB-T #0

Meanwhile, dmesg decides to spit this out:
'
[ 2043.351319] usb 2-1: DVB: adapter 1 frontend 0 frequency 0 out of range (174000000..868000000)
[ 2043.351799] usb 2-1: DVB: adapter 1 frontend 1 frequency 0 out of range (950000..2150000)
'
After research it appears the 2nd error message is to be expected, but the first is likely the cause of the issues. The 'lock' light indicating a signal has been found is not present on the hardware.
Does anyone have any insight into this? If you need more info please just ask me.
Thank you!
EDIT: I'm running this on Ubuntu Server 24.04.2.LTS, kernel 6.8.0
