The help text reads: 'Allowed networks : List of allowed IPv4 or IPv6 hosts or networks (comma-separated).'. Because it reads 'hosts' and not 'hostnames' and specifically mentions 'IPv4' and 'IPv6', I assume that only IP addresses are permitted but I have not tested this assumption.
