Perhaps the user could have the ability to set these parameters totally manually but also have a pop-up that can copy the values from a source listed on the pop-up. If implemented at the service level, the user could simply copy the values from a known source. The pop-up could reduce typing errors.
If implemented at the channel level, perhaps there could be a panel called 'Always use these parameters when streaming' (or similar) that will override the values regardless of which service the channel is currently utilising.
Even more simply at the channel level, there could be a 'Preferred Service' or 'Service Parameter Override' setting that dictates the parameters to be used when streaming any service for that channel.
