Merge TV channels

Hi all,

is it possible to have backup channels for 1 channel and if they are not working is TVH able to check the bandwidth and if there is no traffic take the backup one?

TVH has the concepts of 'services' and 'channels'. You watch a channel, but tune into a service. Each channel can be associated with multiple services.

I have never tested this, but you could create a channel that points to 2 services (primary and backup) and see what happens when the primary service not transmitting.

thanks for sharing. I went through the documentation and it seems to be possible. In the muxes section I can also set a priority which also works fine.
Only issue I see it that it will take ages to have all channels merged and set up.

I will go with channel tags instead
