Films recorded very quietly

Hi,

unfortunately my films are always recorded very quietly.

When playing via MiniDLNA from the Raspberry to the Panasonic TV, I have to turn the volume up to almost full volume.

Yesterday, at a film, the music was very loud, but the languages were very quiet. I had to take countermeasures again and again while watching.

Is there a opportunity in the settings to solve this kind of problems? I could not find any options...

If the balance between music and voice is bad, the problem is almost certainly with your source material. There's no means to adjust things within TVH. Your films are always recorded just as they are captured. Volume control is done by the client (TV or vlc etc).

I'd guess original broadcast content is 5.0/5.1 so speech is concentrated on the front-centre channel, but this is not being downmixed (or downmixed correctly) into 2.0 output and you hear the original front left/right channels which are mostly music/effects unless someone is speaking from the far left or right of a scene. It's normally the responsibility of the player app to downmix channels, or pass-through the original stream so the TV can downmix the audio itself.
