Can't find services or channels

TLDR: Between 2 separate installs with 3 different tuners and 3 different aerials, I cannot seem to find a single service or channel. I presume I must be doing something fundamentally wrong and need help.

Both systems in the UK and both are running the Linuxserver container.

1st system is a Debian box with a Dvbsky S952 V3 Dual DVB-S2 Tuner PCIe card. There is an excellent signal from the communal dish which is confirmed by using a built in tuner in the TV. All regular channels picked up and also encrypted ones. I have access to this box over tailscale.

2nd system is a Debian box in my property with a TBS 6281SE DVB-T2/T/C Double TV Tuner Digital PCIe Card. There are 2 separate aerials - 1 outdoor and 1 indoor, but due to my location even the indoor aerial gets an excellent signal as tested in various devices.

Something to note is that I had to either build or install drivers/firmware for the 2 cards. This is something I had not anticipated when I bought them and I found it difficult to understand (I am used to just plugging things in and them already being part of the Linux kernel!)

Because of this, on the presumption I had got something wrong which is why I could not find any services or channels, I bought a Hauppauge WinTV NOVA-TD-Stick DVB-T receiver. This was detected with no issue by system 2, and I passed it through to the container.

Even with this USB tuner, I find zero services or channels.

I will leave it there for now but happy to answer any questions.

What do the TvHeadend logs say when you do a scan?

How are you passing the device through to the container?
