Hello,
I use an IPTV provider that only allows one stream and switches off if it is not.
Basically, it is advantageous that TVHeadend provides several output streams, so that the same program can be accessed from several devices and only one input stream is required.
However, a problem occurs when video recordings are programmed that are to be recorded one after the other from the same channel. TVHeadend apparently tries to request several input streams and the IPTV provider refuses the service.
Alternatively, TVHeadend could also switch to another service, since there are several services stored on each channel. But that doesn't work. With programmed recordings - especially during pre- and post-recording times - TVHeadend also tries to access the one single IPTV provider several times, which causes the input stream to crash.
It would be useful if TVHeadend checked during recordings whether a certain service was already in use and then, if necessary, accessed another service that is also assigned to the corresponding channel.
How can this problem be solved? Does anyone have experience with this problem? Where can I make the appropriate settings?
Thank you in advance for your help and best regards, Daniel
