Satellite receiver as tvheadend input

I have a Starmax A100 satellite receiver box that I'd like to use with TVheadend.
In the menu there is an option called "DVB TO IPTV" which i suspect is Sat>ip or something similar to that. However i haven't been able to connect to it with any app.
An android sat>ip client briefly displays a server in my local network but then the service disappers.
The box is old and unsupported.
Any chance i can make TVheadend use it as input?

Okay some progress was made:
Turns out that there is a satip.xml file at ip:2871/satip.xml with this content:

It doesn't provide complete information and that's why it's not being discovered by TVheadend.
