Okay some progress was made:
Turns out that there is a satip.xml file at ip:2871/satip.xml with this content:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?><root xmlns="urn:schemas-upnp-org:device-1-0">
<specVersion> <major>1</major>
<minor>0</minor> </specVersion>
<device> <deviceType>urn:ses-com:device:SatIPServer:1</deviceType>
<friendlyName>@X]0</friendlyName> <manufacturer>ALi CO., LTD.</manufacturer>
<manufacturerURL>http://www.alitech.com/</manufacturerURL> <modelDescription>ALI SAT2IP Server</modelDescription> <modelName>NFLC SDK v2.3</modelName> <modelNumber>1.0</modelNumber> <modelURL>http://www.alitech.com/</modelURL> <serialNumber>DB-M3606-01V01-030</serialNumber> <UDN>uuid:</UDN> <presentationURL/>
</device> </root>
It doesn't provide complete information and that's why it's not being discovered by TVheadend.
