Hello TVHeadend Community,
I’m currently facing an issue with two channels—SIC and SIC Radical—on the MEO Hispasat network. Both channels seem to be sharing the same PIDs for video and audio streams, which prevents me from watching them simultaneously. Here’s a bit more detail about my setup and what I’ve tried so far:
Setup Details:
System: Sat>IP setup on TVHeadend with multiple DVB-S2 tuners
Provider: MEO Hispasat
Channels with Issue: SIC and SIC Radical
PIDs in Question:
Video PID: 4913 (H264)
Audio PID: 4914 (AAC)
CA PID: 1574 and 1127 (respectively for each channel)
Problem Description:
When I try to watch both channels at the same time, only one of them works, while the other fails to load. I’ve verified that both channels are indeed sharing the same PIDs for audio and video, which I suspect may be causing the conflict.
What I’ve Tried:
Rescanning the Transponders: I performed a fresh scan to ensure that the channel mappings are accurate, but the issue persists.
Changing Settings in TVHeadend: I’ve explored settings under the transponder and PID filters, but haven’t found a way to separate the streams or manage them differently.
Separate Transponders: Unfortunately, these channels are on the same transponder, so I can’t easily change frequencies.
Questions:
Is this a known issue or bug with TVHeadend? If so, is there a fix or workaround?
Is there any way within TVHeadend to handle channels that share the same PIDs for audio/video?
Any suggestions for additional settings or adjustments? I’d appreciate guidance on any PID filtering techniques or advanced configurations within TVHeadend that might help.
Thank you for any assistance or insight you can offer. This issue is quite puzzling, and any help would be greatly appreciated!
