Redistributing TV channel via Tvheadend with HTTPS and HLS/m3u8

I own Tvheadend, and from Channel/EPG, I want to redistribute a specific TV channel on a website. The issue is that the player on the website only supports HLS/m3u8, MPEG/DASH, and only via HTTPS, not HTTP. An example of a TV channel I want to redistribute is: http://ip-tvheadend:port/stream/service/f505afe20fa436831dc79eef5fad5d78?ticket=76E31AFD3D1DD32671D6D5B673F314CD3902A9B8. Can you help me with a solution or advice? Thank you in advance!

For https support, you'd have to use a reverse proxy, like nginx, + letsencrypt or self signed certificate. You could enable https just for that specific channel I think. For the mpeg dash stream support, I'd guess you'd have to make a new stream type, piping it through ffmpeg to get it in that format. Not sure about the specifics.
You'll also probably want to enable persistent authentication for that username, so you don't need to pass user/password to the stream url.
