Asustor writes for their NAS: "Software Retirement Announcement" "As PHP 7.4 was retired in December 2022, some applications have become end of life as a result. Due to PHP 7.3/7.4 software deprecation, Linux kernel upgrades and kernel module upgrades, the following apps on ADM 5.0 are unable to receive further support: [...] Tvheadend"

Is it true? There are changes in the kernel architecture or the PHP8 that Tvheadend will not be working any more on newer machines?
Maybe other Vendors of hardware will not support it anymore. Or is it just a joke from Asustor - they just want to sell paid solutions anymore? Do I need to fear loosing Tvheadend because of to big changes in the linux kernel architecture, that there will be no solution for this great and wonderful working server? The other solutions they propose are terrible to connect to Sat>IP and then they don't even have a simple EPG grabber.
