Hello TVH forum,
I recently setup TVH in a docker container and it is working beautifully. I have one general question regarding how simultaneous connections generally work and how they "pop up" on the side of my IPTV provider. I got an m3u playlist from my provider and I am currently paying for 1 connection which I also made sure to configure in TVH. My provider allows as many connections while they are coming from one singular device so for example I could watch channel A and channel B on my phone but once I try to watch channel C from my computer it still technically works but I am 99% sure my provider does not allow for this (The exact wording in the FAQ is: Q: When do I need a multiline? A: As soon as you are using multiple devices.)
Now please don't take this the wrong way, I am not trying to rip off my provider but my question is this:
How does TVH report the connections that are being used to my provider? Does it say "Hey provider I am currently using up two connections to two different channels but they are all coming from one device so it's all fine, don't worry about it 😃" with the one device being the machine running TVH and the fact that there are two other devices streaming content from inside the local network is omitted.
Or does it say "Hey provider there are two different devices streaming two different channels, just as a heads up"?
Hope someone here can help! Thanks in advance!
