Hello. I've been using TVHeadEnd for a few months now. Until now it was really great and i was enjoying it's features. However recently my provider changed port (not IP, just port) on which the streams are streaming. No problem, i changed the setting and re-map all the services. But i noticed after a few minutes, it randomly lags for a few seconds and then continues to stream. This is happening every 1 or so minutes. This is happening regardless client (can be Kodi, can be built in stream player in TVHeadEnd webui...)
It happens on whatever bitrate it's transfering so it can't be by the bitrate limiter they definitely has. It would be error on their side if the stream would lag also when applied directly in VLC for example but nope. It runs smoothly without any interruption. These disconnects and lags happen only when streaming through TVHeadEnd.
I tried to:
- Change TVHeadEnd versions (for older)
- Inserting multiple variations of input URL
- Restarting
- Setting all from ground up with clean environment
Nothing helped. Here's a few pictures describing how the bitrate drops for a while and then suddelny increases again.
My setup doesn't have anything special in it - just straight forward with the setup wizard. In case of any questions, just ask and i will try to answer ASAP.
