Ability to reload channel lists in the GUI and via script

Can an option be added to allow a network channel list to be reloaded.

There are occasions where I have to update at the channel list by shutting down and restarting tvheadend, which then affects all connected clients. I have found one manual way of doing this is by editing filename of the M3U filename for IPTV channel lists and then changing the M3U filename back.

Can a "reload channel list" by network button be added and an option to initialise this via a command line so it can be scripted.

The way IPTV is handled needs changing, really.
I think doing a force scan should essentially just reload the playlist instead of checking the streams.

Agreed - a forced scan is not appropriate and for 10,000 plus channels takes all day. I have also noticed that once per day when TVHeadend reloads the IPTV channels it stops the whole server for like 5 mins. I have to make sure I reboot the server in the night so that the next time it scans, 24hours later its not during prime time tv hours
