Information columns in EPG and Recording Tabs

I've been using TVH for quite a long time now and I must praise you on creating a great program.
I have two libreelec installations using TVH - a RPi 4b with TVHat (My 'Freeview Box') and an Athlon 5350system with Sat Tuner (My 'Freesat Box'). The current version of TVH on these is 4.3-2180 (LibreELEC Tvh-addon v12.0.0.0).
On these boxes, the EPG and Recording tabs show information for Start/Stop times: DAY, time and date.

I have an unraid server also with a Sat card which uses a TVH/Libreelec docker to act as another backend. This docker gets updated quite frequently and the current TVH version on that is 4.3-2336_g366e56290.
On this docker/newer version of TVH the DAY is missing from the columns noted above - only time and date is there - and it has been like this for several updates.

I personally like to see the DAY on the information columns. Is there any reason why this is not included on these later versions? Can it be reinstated or is there anything I can do myself to put it back in?

Also on the question of the GUI. I like to remove a lot of the columns I don't need and have to constantly change this and resize everything when it returns to its default layout. Could some way of saving a permanent profile of desired layout be done? Perhaps in the User Profile or else a global one?

Another problem with the GUI is when I view it on my tablet (using Firefox) there is no way to resize any of the columns and it is pretty much unusable on that. Could another improvement include automatic column sizing on web browsers?

I don't know if anything I have suggested is too difficult to achieve (putting Day back in should be easy, I would have thought). Anyway thanks for a great program. I'd like it to be even greater. 🙂

The date format is set in Configuration -> General -> Base -> Web Interface Settings -> Custom Date Format. I don't know why your devices are showing different date formats, possibly they are set to different locales?

UI settings are stored in cookies on your browser. You can change the expiration time using Configuration -> General -> Base -> HTTP Server Settings -> Cookie Expiration. The maximum is 2047 days.

The docker device is the one with latest version and shows no day. The config is the same as my other devices which are on the older version and do show day.
I'll have a look at using this custom setting - it is blank at the moment.

I've just done this customisation, but had to search for the day variable to set (%ddd). Now it is how I want it.
Fortunately I came across another post on this forum which answered my question.
It still doesn't explain why the day is missing by default on the newer TVH version and not on the older version unless the coding has changed - which was why I was querying this in the first place.

If the date format is not explicitly set tvheadend seems to use the format according to the current locale, and it seems to be using UK format on two of your devices and US format on the third. I don't really understand docker but the locale could be set within the docker module or by the operating system (see /etc/locale.conf).

That file doesn't exist within the docker itself or on the unraid system. In unraid there is a local time (set as London). Everything is set up identical for UK on all devices.
Not worth worrying about - the customisation fixed it for me.
