john i Hello, I would like to ask if the "tv_find_grabbers" script is included in tvheadend, or tvheadend depends on xmltv package in Ubuntu! I' m having the script but i have not the xmltv package installed i have only the xmltv-utils installed. Thank you
DaveH I don't use ubuntu but searching tvheadend at github seems to show that there is no tv_find_grabbers there. And since tv_find_grabbers is an XMLTV utility I wouldn't be surprised to find it in a package called xmltv-util. So I suppose that's where it comes from. Why does it matter? Can ubuntu not tell you what files are in a package?
DeltaMikeCharlie I actually installed XMLTV yesterday for some other testing. It is an external package. I think that I just used sudo apt install xmltv, but don't quote me on it.
DaveH As I suspected tv_find_grabbers is packaged as part of the xmltv-util package in Ubuntu. See https://packages.ubuntu.com/jammy/all/xmltv-util/filelist for confirmation.
