Cannot login to tvheadend web-Interface

Hey,

Firstly, I want to send a warm welcome to everybody out here.

My problem: I installed tvheadend on a raspberry pi4 and wanted to login to the web-interface. I hit in the name and the password that I made up during the installing process. But it didn't let me in - I just got the message "403-forbidden" in my browser. Already reinstalled - didn't help.

What am I doing wrong?

There is something wrong with the installation of Tvheadend on Linux because many people have similar problems, including me. After installation and entering the correct password, you cannot log in via a web browser.
As far as I remember, it's OK now, I reset tvheadend and ran it from root with the option: --noacl, i.e. : Disable all access control checks.
And setting everything again, i.e. login, password, etc. ... and it helped, then I could log in

Thanks foryour answer. Ijust found the reason: the superuser file was in the wrong position and I had to move it manually. Now it works.

Where was the file and where did you move it to?

Hey mate, sorry for my late reply.

I moved the superuser file like this

sudo mv /var/lib/tvheadend/.config/superuser /var/lib/tvheadend/.config/hts/superuser

Thanks. What method did you use to install TVH? Also, which OS were you using?

I installed it on an ubuntu server and on a local raspberry pi.
