I've been trying to set up a new tvheadend installation but ran into the following issues :
- After adding a network, a mux, and scanning, services don't show up in the default "Hide: Parent disabled" view, only in "Hide: None".
- Trying to map services results in all of them being ignored.
- Manually adding a service does work.
- After adding a service, EPG is fetched properly, but trying to watch a channel via "Watch TV" in the EPG tab results in the stream not starting and "No assigned adapters" shows up in the logs.
- Playing the stream for a whole mux does work.
The issue seems to be somehow related to the kernel version. Initially, I was trying to set tvheadend up on Debian trixie whose kernel version is currently 6.7.12. I reproduced the issue with a clean trixie installation too. It does not occur with Debian bookworm (kernel 6.1.90) or Arch (kernel 6.9.1), but does occur with Arch LTS kernel which is currently at 6.6.31.
tvheadend version is 73a6bd0. Adapter is Astrometa with the Sony demod.
Will add more information if/when I learn something more. For now, if you have similar issues with the same adapter, downgrade the kernel to 6.1 or upgrade it to 6.9.
