Recording playback: unable to convert filename using charset ASCII

Hi,

thanks all for maintaining this site, Tvheadend and this forum.

I have tvheadend on openwrt 22.03.2. When i try to playback a recording using clients such as TVHClient or dreamPlayerTV, i get an error http: unable to convert filename 'xxxx' to a safe form using charset 'ASCII//TRANSLIT//IGNORE'.

Recording charset option is set to UTF8 (ASCII or any other won't work), remove unsafe characters and space replacement options are enabled.

Playback using Kodi works but i need to use different client.

I have seen some old discussions and apparently there were issues already fixed in some distributions with the iconv, but i have last package available and not working.

Any help or hint would be appreciated.

You should contact the maintainer of your unofficial/modified build for assistance. OpenWRT previously removed dependencies and caused issues in doing so, no clue if that's still the case.
