He wants to use it via streamingserver on another System. Of course the devices are directly supported via tvheadend as well.
The installation of our devices work as followed:
cd /tmp
sudo -s
wget http://sundtek.de/media/sundtek_netinst.sh
chmod 777 sundtek_netinst.sh
./sundtek_netinst.sh
it will just install the driver for the given architecture (x86-64, x86-32, arm-32, arm64, mips, sh4) and the devices work with all Linux systems (from Linux 2.6.15 or Linux since 2006 on) without compiling anything. We're on the market since 2008 and yet all products are still supported by the same driver package.
Also our driver package does not interfere with other drivers in the system. The installation will take less than 10 seconds.
To install the streamingserver:
sudo -s
/opt/bin/mediaclient --installstreamer
The streamingserver is able to expose the devices as SAT>IP devices but can also be used to generate custom playlists via webfrontend configuration http://localhost:22000 aside of DVB it also supports FM Radio and DAB+ (for devices which support it). It is not required to do any configuration for SAT>IP.
To remove the SAT>IP server just remove /opt/bin/rtspd and run sudo killall rtspd
The streamingserver is work in progress, but usable.
Sundtek SkyTV Dual UHD (2x DVB-S/S2/S2X) supports two transportstreams up to 120mbit / 240mbit together
Sundtek SkyTV 8 UHD supports a single transportstream.
