Randomize adapter selection

If we have several adapters for recieving the same network (eg. three DVB-T sticks), is there a way to randomize which one is picked each time, as some kind of wear levelling? I don't think setting the priorities to the same number does that does it? I tried that on my server but one is always used first and the other is always idle unless I need to recieve a second mux. Maybe it wouldn't be as useful as I'm thinking but in the past I did manage to kill a TV stick by running DVBlast for a long time.

The only way I can think of doing something like that is to set up three identical networks, allocating one tuner to each. Then map the services from all the networks onto your channels and set the priorities so that for example Channel A prefers network 1, Channel B prefers network 2 and so on. It's a lot of work and it could easily go wrong.

If tuner is cooled no mater how long is used
my older tuner is 15+ years old.

For USB tuners sometime is problem Voltage with drop below 5V and generate lot of heat.
Partial solution is to "undress it" from plastic body and if possible to put aluminium radiator.
Аluminium radiator can be put also on PCI tuners
Active cooling with fan is recommended solution.

Ok, thank you! Yes, I've thought about opening them up and using a fan or heatsink for cooling. Would definitely be much kinder to them.
