I have a question, what is the purpose of linking the tv adapter together in tvheadend? Does it improve signal or streaming. I'm asking because i'm using a PCie wintv quadhd atsc/QAM tuner card, and it show 4 tuners in the adapter tab. Inside the settings, there's an option to link them together. I have used tvheadend in the past and never question this option and now I'm curious.

You don't really link multiple adapters together, you link multiple adapters to a single network.

The more adapters assigned to a network, the more programmes can be viewed/recorded simultaneously from different providers (muxes).

Bossman Have you tried clicking the help icon on that page? Or looking at the tooltip? It should tell you exactly what that option is for.
