Why Tvheadent put some scanned services as "parent disabled" ?

Hi. Today I added some new mux-es in my list, after that I selected the network and made "Force Scan", then new services apear in Services tab. But for one of new muxes all services has been visible after I switch "Hide" tab from: "Parent disabled" to "note". Then all services are visible:

But anyway it's impossible to map that services into hannel list :-(

Is this a TVHeadend bug? And how to omit ?

Are you receiving from Hotbird 13E? According to Kingofsat that satellite does not carry the channels you have found - neither does any other.
On my system which uses 28.2E I have 773 services with "Hide" set to "Parent Disabled" and 864 with "None". None of the extra services appear in the satellite indexes and none are tuneable.
I'm still trying to work out what "Parent Disabled" actually means, and where my extra channels are coming from.

Same problem here with HTS Tvheadend 4.3-2323~g73a6bd00d.

For example on “Astra 19.2° East” and at “11758” MHz. The channels “Sky Sport 2” and “Sky Sport Austria 3” are located here. Both channels are available. However, they are faded out with “parent disabled”.

If I delete the channels and rescan the frequency, they are available again normally and can be mapped.

I also have the same problem with “Sky Sport Bundesliga 2”, which worked like this.

BTW: Can someone explain to me why some frequencies are duplicated in muxes? Can I simply delete the duplicates - it's also strange that some of them are set to FAIL.

I've seen this happen (on 28.2E) when a mux is changed from DVB-S to DVB-S2, Tvheadend creates a new mux for the new configuration but doesn't delete the old one. Deleting manually worked for me.

If you use the predefined mux list when you first create the network and you have selected new and changed muxes you’ll notice that some muxes may appear twice with a slightly offset mux number eg 12187H and 12175.5H. Obviously they’ll pick up the same channels as soon as the services are mapped.

Best to manually create the network by supplying one known working mux on the network and carrying out a network scan/search as the remaining working muxes will be picked up and scanned without duplicates.
