Posting
- One topic per discussion thread
- Post in English: use Google translate and include native language text if needed
- Be as descriptive and detailed as possible. We are not mind readers!
- If you need to include a log, pastebin the whole log not just a snippet
- Do not cross-post or double-post
- New users may require initial posts to be approved (to prevent spam), be patient
Avatars
- Do not use the Tvheadend logo as your avatar image or as part of your avatar image
- Do not use provocative images that may offend other forum users
- Do not use images of a sexual, political, or religious nature
- Forum moderators will remove avatars that breach the rules
Piracy
- Discussions regarding piracy or theft of copyrighted materials will not be tolerated
- Discussions on piracy tools (e.g. torrent clients, NZB suites) are not welcomed
- Discussions on CAM circumvention and related topics are not welcomed
- Discussions on VPN services used to hide piracy or bypass geoblocking are not welcomed
- Discussions on IPTV services that offer pirated chanels are not welcomed
Community Releases
- Sharing alternative Tvheadend binaries is okay if you provide sources, e.g. link to your GitHub repo
- Creators should upstream useful changes whenever possible, to benefit the project
Companies
- Companies who assist their users with support issues in our forums are welcome
- Companies who create "advertorial" postings for their products are not welcome
- Accounts must be tagged (identify yourself to staff) so forum users can see you are not a normal user
- Accounts posting VPN and IPTV service recommendations are not welcome
Accounts or Discussions/Posts that violate the rules may be suspended or deleted without notice.
