Recording ends too soon when another recording follows

If I have two autorecs setup which happen to be two programs that follow on from each other, the first recording ends too soon by a few seconds and the lost time is part of the next recording. Is there a way to stop this from happening? I have set global channel start/end padding to 10 minutes, but this doesn't help.

For anybody else struggling with this, I was able to workaround the issue by unchecking "Use EPG Running State" from recording settings and adding some pre and post padding. I now get all of the program in its respective file (albeit with some of the other program too).
