Hi,
I am using LibreElec 10.0.3 and HTS Tvheadend 4.3-1979 ~ LibreELEC Tvh-addon v10.0.0.103.
I normally record a video which has the following stream data:
Input #0, mpegts, from '/media/DVR/RegistrazioniTV/CLV/CLV2023-01-18.ts':
Duration: 03:20:00.61, start: 82849.148356, bitrate: 5753 kb/s
Program 1
Metadata:
service_name : Rai 3 HD
service_provider: Rai
Stream #0:0[0xc9]: Video: h264 (High) ([27][0][0][0] / 0x001B), yuv420p(tv, top first), 1920x1080 [SAR 1:1 DAR 16:9], 25 fps, 25 tbr, 90k tbn, 50 tbc
Stream #0:1[0x12d](ita): Audio: mp2 ([3][0][0][0] / 0x0003), 48000 Hz, stereo, fltp, 128 kb/s
Stream #0:2[0x191](oth): Audio: mp2 ([3][0][0][0] / 0x0003), 48000 Hz, mono, fltp, 64 kb/s
Stream #0:3[0x259](ita,ita,eng): Subtitle: dvb_teletext ([6][0][0][0] / 0x0006)
No Program
Stream #0:4[0x12]: Data: epg
I record the program at 21:10 and I start watching it at around 22:30.
Basically, whenever I play the video being recorded, every now and then, suddenly, I will see buffering taking place and eventually, the stream will freeze. I then have to press STOP and PLAY again, and the video will resume. If I play the video after it's been fully recorded, I never face any issues.
I am recording the video over an USB3 Stick with ext4 file system, plugged into an USB3 port
/dev/sda on /var/media/DVR type ext4 (rw,nosuid,nodev,noexec,noatime)
In LibreELEC logs I see the following:
2023-01-18 23:11:17.814 T:10596 INFO <general>: CVideoPlayerAudio::Process - stream stalled
2023-01-18 23:11:24.481 T:10602 ERROR <general>: CDVDVideoCodecDRMPRIME::AddData - send packet failed: End of file (-541478725)
2023-01-18 23:11:31.210 T:904 INFO <general>: Skipped 574 duplicate messages..
and TVH writes
2023-01-18 23:11:31.313 [ INFO]:subscription: 002F: "HTSP" unsubscribing, hostname="127.0.0.1", username="tvheadend", client="Kodi Media Center"
I can't understand why I am getting a stall over an USB pen, especially if the video files plays perfectly (I am not getting any lost frame, if I play it back again) and if TVH is somewhat triggering this problem, since this only happens while TVH is recording
Thanks!
Luca
