I installed a TBS6281 dual tuner PCI card since I have problems with my USB tuners. This is HTS Tvheadend 4.3-2058~g5543ce518
Top shows 115% CPU with just one channel playing. In status I see extremely high bandwidths, pushing 100 000kb/s
This is the internal player though. Obviously is that not a very good idea. I tested our TV via OSMC (Kodi) with the same programme and tvheadend runs at 2% !!!!
With three streams on 2 DVB-T2 cards it is still less than 4%. I guess. I should not use the built in viewer for testing :)
Bandwidths are also much lower around 35k
